CPR - HLTCPR201A (Perform CPR)
CPR courses are available for both beginners and those updating their CPR skills. The course is 3-4 hours and covers DRABCD, CPR and review questions. Certificates are presented on completion of training Cost $55.00.

Course Dates for CPR - HLTCPR201A (Perform CPR):
Course Runs from 8:45am - 12:30 noon - Blackburn.
Level 1 - HLTFA201A (Provide Basic Emergency Life Support)
The Level 1 course "Emergency Life Support" is 6 hours duration. This course covers casualty assessment, the unconscious casualty, CPR resuscitation technique, hygiene and Government standards relating to First Aid in the workplace including First Aid kits. Other topics covered are asthma, choking, heart attack, angina, stroke, bleeding, shock and anaphylaxis. There is no exam for a Level 1 course. Cost $100.00.

Course Dates for Level 1 - HLTFA201A (Provide Basic Emergency Life Support):
Course Runs from 8:45am - 4:30pm - Blackburn.
Level 2 - HLTFA301B (Apply First Aid)
The Level 2 course titled "Apply First Aid" is 16 hours in duration. It includes all topics covered in Level 1 plus eye and ear injuries, burns, exposure, poisons, bites and stings, fractures, sprains, head injuries, epilepsy, diabetes, bandaging amd lifting techniques. Basically any injury or illness you are likely to encounter in your workplace. Cost $185.00.

Course Dates for Level 2 - HLTFA301B (Apply First Aid):
Course Runs from Day 1: 8:45am - 5:00pm, Day 2: 9:00am - 5:00pm - Blackburn.
Level 2 – HLTFA301B Apply First Aid – One Day

This Level 2 course is completed by studying our workbook in your own time and answering all revision sections.
You then attend a one day practical session (8 hours) where your workbook will be checked and you will be assessed on your first aid skills and knowledge.

Please note: If you do not complete the workbook you will be unable to attend the course.

This course is ideal for participants who have a current Level 2 certificate and are renewing their qualification.

Level 2 – HLTFA301B Apply First Aid – One Day Cost $135.00

Level 2 – HLTFA301B Apply First Aid – One Day:
Course Runs from 9:00am - 5:00pm - Blackburn.
Level 2 - HLTFA301B Update (Apply First Aid)

A Level 2 update course is 13 hours in duration covering all topics listed in the Level 2 course above. Cost $165.00.

Recognised Prior Learning (RPL)
This qualification is only for applicants who feel they can competently demonstrate prior First Aid knowledge and skill in the treatment of emergencies and illness based on Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. Once accepted for RPL assessment we will mail you the First Aid Management & Training Centre Level 2 Workbook so that you may refresh your memory on first aid skills.

When you have studied this book and feel confident to be assessed all you need do is contact us to arrange an assessment time. You will be required to demonstrate practical competency in resuscitation and bandaging and complete a multiple choice test. You will need to provide evidence of your previous qualifications.

Group Bookings
