Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies

This course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to develop, review and update an asthma risk assessment and emergency management strategy and to recognise and respond safely to an asthma episode using asthma related first aid interventions.

Course Mode & Duration

Option #1: Traditional Face-to-Face

Our traditional three hour face to face delivery and assessment.

Option #2: Online Theory & Practical Session

Work through the online theory component and assessment from your home or office at your own pace (allow 2 hours) and then attend a one hour face to face practical session.

Certificate

A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon successful completion of the course 22702VIC - Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies, incorporating the units VU24021 Provide first aid management of an asthma emergency & VU24022 Manage asthma risks.

Please note: Unit VU24021 is a pre-requisite for Unit VU24022.
