Course Mode & Duration
This course is delivered by a 3 hour face-to-face training session.
Prerequisites
- Current Sports Trainer Level 1 or which has expired for less than 6 months
- Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID011
- Current CPR Certificate HLTAID009
Course Content
- Review any changes to treatment/management of sporting injuries
- Review management of common medical conditions
- Update concussion policy
- Sports taping
Assessment
- Demonstration of practical skills
- Role play/scenario work
- Written assessment
Certificate
A Sports Trainer Level 1 Certificate will be issued by First Aid Management & Training Centre upon successful completion of the course. The Certificate is valid for 3 years.
