EFNL Sports Trainer Courses

These courses are specific to EFNL clubs only. If you are not part of the EFNL, you can find our normal courses here.

Available Courses

Note that HLTAID001 has been replaced by HLTAID009, and HLTAID003 has been replaced by HLTAID011.

Here are our courses offered to the EFNL:

• Sports Trainer Level 1
• Emergency Response Coordinator
• Sports Trainer Level 1 Re-Accreditation
• HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (Level 2)

Sports Trainer Level 1

The Sports Trainer Level 1 course is required by the Eastern Football League to be a Sports Trainer in the age groups from Under 14’s through to Senior football.

If you do this course and you are a trainer in age groups under 8’s - 13’s this course will cover any Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) requirements.

• Under 8 - 10 - Current Level 2 First Aid HLTAID011 & current CPR HLTAID009
• Under 11 - 13 - Current Level 2 First Aid HLTAID011 & current CPR HLTAID009 & ERC
• Clubs must have an Emergency Response Coordinator on site at all games
• Under 14's - Senior - Sports Trainer Level 1 (covers ERC requirements)

Emergency Response Coordinator

The Eastern Football League requirements for Sports Trainers at junior clubs are:

• Under 8 - 10 - Current Level 2 First Aid HLTAID003 & current CPR HLTAID001
• Under 11 - 13 - Current Level 2 First Aid HLTAID003 & current CPR HLTAID001 & ERC
• Clubs must have an Emergency Response Coordinator on site at all games
• Under 14’s - Senior - Sports Trainer Level 1 (covers ERC requirements)
